Mrs. Ward

My name is Mrs. Jolene Ward. This is my 24th year of teaching. Most of those years have been in Kindergarten—my favorite place to be! I have also taught 2nd grade and was a reading specialist for 7 years here at West. This is my 21st year at West School, and I love being a part of the West community. I live in Sycamore with my husband, 16 year-old son, and 13 year-old daughter. I graduated from Illinois State with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and from Northern Illinois with a Master’s degree in Reading. However, I learn the most about children and how they learn straight from the kids!
